AGM Approaches! October 22nd
Dear members of the Old Nick Company, Inc
Announcing the upcoming AGM! The 2023 AGM date has been set as Sunday the 22nd of October, with doors open from 1:30 and the meeting opening at 2PM. We invite all Old Nick members to come and observe and vote on the future of the company, and afterwards we will have canapés and drinks and those of you who are really keen can stay on for a 75th anniversary viewing of the 2008 60th anniversary show: Diamond Nickers.
The past few years have been tumultuous for the company. We survived COVID, but 2020 threw into sharp focus how much more work was needed to ensure Old Nick remains resilient into the future. We had been working on modernising Old Nick for a long while, though with the typical agility and speed committees are known for (/sarcasm). This has been accelerated the last few years by a number of factors - the most significant of which has been the administrative burdens on the company which have grown exponentially.
As is usual for an AGM, we will cover details of the year which has just passed, accept the audits, and vote in members of the committee. Additionally, this year we have constitutional amendments to present to enable us to better run the company into the future which can be seen below.
All members are able to vote, so please come along and join us and find out what we’ve been up to, and what we will be up to in the coming year.
